Oil PaintingPat lives in Brown County, Indiana. She received her art training from DePauw University and Indiana University. She continues to study art and has been a student of several nationally recognized painters, including: Charles Movelli, C.W Mundy, and Don Stone. She has taught art in the public schools and in private classes. Enjoying painting on location, she has traveled in the U.S. and abroad with her paints and easel. Active in the Indiana Plein-Air Painters Association, she also participated in Brown County Art Mentor Program. Pat is past-president of Indiana Heritage Arts, Inc. For several years, she lived in Afghanistan from 1967-1979, where she taught in the American International School and a private Christian school. She also illustrated books on Afghanistan. She has three sons. Working in an impressionist style, her paintings have been described as poetic and sensitive. Her paintings are in collections in the U.S., Europe, and Asia and have been in exhibitions nationwide and abroad.
