The
10th annual Brown County Studio and Garden Tour is a free, self-guided educational
event designed to showcase the arts and crafts of
"The Art Colony of the
Midwest."
Twenty studios and 35 artisans, who continue this cultural heritage, display
their studios and gardens to the public for one special weekend in June.
A detailed map will help you find your way through the rolling hills with
prominent signs and flags to direct you to each studio.
Experience the wealth of natural beauty here and the vast talents of the
creative people that make their homes in Brown County.

driving tour of
artists'
and craftsmen's studios
Brown County is an autumn
destination for many people. On the back roads, there's a lot of activity,
too. Many local artists and craftsmen offer visitors a unique opportunity to
experience the real art for which the county is famous. Artists on the June
tour wanted the opportunity to meet the public in a more relaxed atmosphere
and the "Back Roads" tour was started six years ago. Twelve studios will be open
and in production for the entire month of October, and they have assembled a
free, self-guided tour. We hope you'll find time to visit us this fall! |
